It's an understatement to say that AI has generated a buzz. It's the most disruptive technology humanity has witnessed, shaking things up like never before. If you haven't explored the potential of AI tools, you're bound to be left in the dust. Especially for those entering the business world with high prospects for AI-driven disruption, integration is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity.
Currently, there are two opposing camps regarding the impact of AI on society. The Doomsdayers predict widespread job replacement, leading to the need for universal salaries. On the other hand, the Pro-AIers believe that AI will democratize opportunities. While I don't believe it's a strictly binary situation, I tend to lean toward the Pro-AI crowd. AI is an incredible tool that enables humans to achieve more with fewer resources.
Just last year, starting a business would have cost you thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours. Let's break it down:
Setting up a corporation: $500-$2,000, depending on the chosen approach.
Website development: $5,000+ for a quality website. However, many poorly designed websites have been launched for less. Communication gaps with developers often lead to disparity between what you want and what they deliver. Before you comment on how you know code and can build your own, please keep it to yourself. I’m not talking to you wiseass.
Content development: You could spend $100 per hour on content writing or invest countless hours doing it yourself. From blogging to social media posts and YouTube scripts, not to mention the time spent on editing—ugh! If you plan on self editing, don’t discount the time and frustration of learning to use the software.
Marketing: Working with marketing agencies and spending tens of thousands of dollars doesn't always yield satisfactory results. But if you lack the time or skills to launch your own campaign, get ready to open your wallet wide.
The list goes on. Founders Fusion has been brewing in my mind for years, but my attention was consumed by my other two companies, leaving zero time to kickstart it. That is until I discovered the incredible potential of leveraging AI. I applied AI to both of my existing companies, freeing up a significant amount of time, and now I'm diving headfirst into FF, utilizing AI to its fullest. How?
I used an AI branding tool to create a complete branding kit for less than $200!
Building the website was a breeze with Framer.com over a single weekend. Despite having zero coding knowledge, I pay a reasonable $25/month for hosting—the same ballpark as WordPress and GoDaddy's web hosting packages. Having tried both, Framer is on an entirely different level.
All of my corporate documents were crafted using Chat GPT. They are on par with kits I used to spend $700 on.
Chat GPT helped me generate content ideas for the entire upcoming quarter.
When faced with writer's block, I run my blog or script through Chat GPT. Then, I use the generated draft as inspiration to create my own material. However, I strongly encourage you to personalize AI-generated content. While AI is a valuable tool, it still reads like a robot.
I use Midjourney to create royalty-free images for my website, posts, and social media accounts.
For market research, I rely on Bing, Perplexity, and Bard.
To create personas, I turn to the Chrome plugin AIPRM.
For video editing, Descript is my go-to tool.
I could keep going, but the bottom line is this: AI is empowering entrepreneurs to seize more opportunities at a lower cost. This means that more businesses can achieve scalability, ultimately leading to job creation. We're not heading towards the annihilation of the workforce, but rather a transformation of how we perceive it. These tools provide the opportunity to start making profits in a fraction of the time it took before. Profit enables growth, and growth necessitates hiring. I foresee an unprecedented transformation for humankind.
